                Untuk membaca bilangan pecahan dalam bahasa inggris, maka angka yang diatas(pembilang) kita bisa menggunakan “CARDINAL NUMBERS” dan angka yang dibawah(penyebut) kita menggunakan “ORDINAL NUMBERS”.

                Kecuali:

                1/2                         : A/one half

                1/3                         : A/one third

                1/4                         : A/one quarter/ fourth

                Example:

                5/3         : Five third                                           6 3/2      : Six and three second

                3/6         : Three sixth                                         7 4/5      : Seven and four fifth

                2/4         : Two fourth                                         3 8/6      : Three and eight sixth
